TINY TAVERN FAQ’S
Do You Provide The Alcohol?
AGLC regulations in Alberta do not allow the sale of alcohol from a mobile bar. The host of the event is responsible for purchasing alcohol and acquiring a Liquor License so we can legally dispense any alcoholic beverages.
We are more than happy to help you make your beverage selections through our suppliers (kegs & bottle service available) and even pick up and drop off the kegs for no additional charge.
What’s A Liquor Licence?
A Liquor License allows for the sale and service of alcohol on special occasions, such as cash bars at weddings or private receptions, as well as larger public events.
A Liquor License is required any time alcohol is served anywhere other than in a licensed establishment or a private residence. It is an easy online application!
Do You Travel Outside Of Calgary?
Our home base is in Calgary, Alberta, but we’ll gladly serve outside of city limits. Inquire with us directly about additional travel fees.
How Do We Know What To Buy?
Once we know more about your particular event, we will can help you decide on how much alcohol you need to purchase.
We will take care of any non-alcoholic beverages like soda, lemonade and gelato required should you decide to include soda, beer or liquor floats on your menu!
What About Keg Couplers?
While we are equipped with couplers for most kegs types (D, S, KeyKeg & ball lock keg couplers), specific couplers may be required to serve specific beverages for an additional fee.
Does TINY TAVERN Require Power?
All we need is a standard 120v outlet with a dedicated 15 amp circuit to operate our keg unit. We can work with you or your venue to ensure that it has the power we need.
No power? No problem! A generator can be brought on site for an additional fee of $125.
What Do We Need To Book?
A 50% deposit is due along with a signed contract to secure TINY TAVERN for your event. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date. If your event is within 45 days the full amount is due at the time of booking.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Due to the number of requests and limited spots available, deposits are non-refundable within 30 days of your event. Should your event be cancelled more than 30 days prior to your event a refund of your deposit less a $200 cancellation fee will apply.
Any Special Requirements?

Do You Provide Glassware?
TINY TAVERN provides compostable toss-ware. If you would like to utilize glassware we can work with you to rent what’s best for your needs.
Are You Available Year Round?
Yes! TINY TAVERN is equipped to accommodate our guest for outdoor events all year.
How Big Is TINY TAVERN?
7 ft wide, 16 ft long, 10 ft high. – We recommend you add 1ft to each measurement to make sure you have no issues.
What About Weather?
TINY TAVERN is completely covered in the event of rain. If there is a major weather event we will work with you as best we can.
Do You Carry Insurance?
Yes, we hold Commercial General Liability Insurance. All Bartenders are ProServe Certified.
TINY TAVERN has WCB Coverage and operates AHS Approved Units.
